My item is new defective!
Although this is rare, If your item is new defective, please contact us at cserv@vimtools.com. We ask that you include a short explanation and image of the issue you’re having. Once reviewed and accepted, you will be refunded. Transfers & refunds sometimes take 1-3 business days to process depending on your bank. We might send you a shipping label to send the item back to us for research purposes and to improve our production process.
I changed my mind, can I return / exchange my VIM Tool?
VIM Tools does not accept returns unless the item is new defective. Please be sure to check each item description prior to purchasing. If you have any questions regarding the application, please reach out to us at cserv@vimtools.com and we will do our best to answer your question! If you feel you received the wrong item, please email us and we will work with you to correct the issue. In the rare case that we do accept a return, the item must be unused and in its original, undamaged packaging. VIM Tools will not cover the cost of return shipping or any issues encountered during the items shipment back to us (unless new defective).
Warranty
Is my VIM Tool covered under warranty?
VIM Tools entire hard line of products is covered under a limited lifetime warranty. We do not warranty consumables. Some items, such as ratchets, will receive repair kits when applicable. The warranty information is on every listing for each of our products on our website. Please see the policy for discontinued item warranties below.
My VIM Tool broke, now what?
If you purchased your VIM Tool from another source, we ask that you please attempt to warranty your item through the original method of purchase. If you’ve exhausted that method, we can help you warranty your item. You will need to submit a warranty claim at the link below:

A $9.95 warranty fee?
VIM Tools charges a flat rate shipping fee to ship your warrantied items back to you ONLY if you did not purchase the item from our site directly. If you purchase the item from our website, you will be able to bypass the shipping fee by entering the order number in which the item was purchased. Customers can warranty up to 3 items per submission.
What if I need to warranty my item but it’s been discontinued?
We’re constantly updating and improving our products so, occasionally, this might happen! If an item is discontinued but superseded by a new version, we will warranty your item with the updated version. If your item is discontinued and has not been superseded, please submit a warranty claim and a customer service representative will be in contact with you to find a suitable replacement or option for you.

How do I know if my item is in stock or discontinued?
Easy! Just search for the part number on our website and click on it. The item will be clearly marked out of stock or discontinued. If discontinued, their might be a recommended item that it has been superseded by.
When will the item I need be back in stock?
You can sign up for in stock notifications on our website! Need it ASAP? Email us and we’ll see do our best to help!
International Shipping duties, Taxes & Fees
I’m not located in the United States, do you ship internationally?
Thanks for your interest in VIM Tools! Currently, VIM Tools ships throughout the USA, APO’s, Puerto Rico, and Canada. However, we do have authorized VIM Tools distributors to choose from. Use our “Locate My Authorized Dealer” tool located on our websites top right corner to find the closest distributor to you!
My package is stuck at the border and there are duties and fee’s owed.
VIM Tools is not responsible for any export fees, duties, or taxes. If a shipment is refused or abandoned, a refund will not be issued.
I have a resale certificate, how can I bypass the taxes being charged?
No worries! We can refund the taxes charged once we receive the necessary form. Be sure to leave a note in your order that you will be emailing the resale certificate to us and we will keep an eye out! When emailing your form to cserv@vimtools.com, please reference your order number. Please note, refunds can sometimes take 1-3 business days to process depending on the bank.

Do you offer a military / first responder / student discount?
Yes! We offer a 10% discount. To get the code, please use the link below for a quick verification. Once verified (usually instantly), you will receive a code you can enter at checkout.
Forms of Payment
I’m ready to order but I’d like to use an alternate payment method other than the ones shown at checkout.
VIM Tools does not accept checks, paypal, or any other money transfer / payment app. Must use the payment portal on our website.
Order Pick Up / VIM Tools Visitors
Can I pick up my order?
Yes! You can pre-arrange your pick up if you are a local customer. Submit a note with your online order that you’d like to pick up locally. Once approved, the cost of your shipment will be refunded. Once your order is ready, a customer service rep will reach out to you to arrange pick up. Orders must be picked up within 3 business days of notification of completion or the transaction could be canceled/refunded. A restock fee might also apply. Pick up orders that have not been preapproved are not allowed.
Can I visit VIM Tools in Tampa?
Although we’d love to see you, VIM Tools does not have a show room that is open to the public. We do not have a brick and mortar storefront.
